EMULSIFIERS

Cetearyl alcohol or cetilestearyl alcohol is a non-ionic coemulsionant that is used as a emollient and to increase viscosity and give more consistency to creams.

It is presented in the form of hydrophilic wax pills of white to clear yellow.

Anionic emulsifier of plant origin for the preparation of oil-in-water type emulsions, creams and lotions. Suitable for all skin types. Melt in the oil phase in a water bath (around 65°C).

Dosage: 3 - 8% (Light Lotions 3%, Creams 5% - 8%)

Co-emulsifier of vegetable origingives more consistency and texture to creams and lotions. Combine with emulsifier. Corresponds to Cera Lanette 16.
