The Scorpion Essence:
The essence was elaborated with the yellow scorpion of the Negev Desert. There people take a black scorpion, alive, to burn it and use its ashes for ophthalmological ailments, such as being cataracts, in which case they sprinkle for ten days in the lower blink of the patient. This wisdom has its origin in the teachings of the rabbi of the Middle Ages, Maimonides, who lived in Andalusia, better known as Rambam.
