Emulsifying Wax 1 - C.C.
Combination between wheat (hydrolized) and palm derivatives, glyceryl stearate and cetearyl alcohol.
Dosage: 4-10% according to desired texture. Example: 5% medium light texture with a max. 20% oil and 70% water. Less than 5% requires adding a co-emulsion or thick as xantane rubber for example.
Uses: Untuous but lightweight creams for hands, face and body etc.
Form of use:
Fusion point: 50° - 60° C. Fusion with oil phase to max. 60°C to the maria bath, heating the aquosa phase. Add water phase to oil phase when both phases have the same temperature (approx. The approx. 3 minutes and remove from time to time until it has been placed at room temperature and add the rest of the ingredients.
Do not combine with cationic substances. Creams made with emulsifying wax no. 1 take approx. 24 hours to show your final texture.
